The Perplexed Professor | The Residents Collection

An evening in the Library of Forgotten Things would have suited him perfectly until whispers of eternal youth drifted through the halls.

With bags beneath his eyes and hair thinning by the day, the professor thought, “What harm could there be in trying?”

He entered the Conservatory hoping to turn back the years. Instead, he became a pumpkin.

Now the Perplexed Professor sits among the Residents, permanently puzzled by how a promise of youth left him with a rind and a stem.

Strike a match and release him from his curiously unfortunate fate. He’s had quite enough time to think it over.
